NY Times editor writes about his cancer

I don’t usually use The C Word to point readers directly to the writings of others, but I’m going to today. Dana Jennings is an editor at the New York Times and has prostate cancer. As I was skimming the Times online this morning, I noticed a small headline off to side that read Person, Patient, Statistic. Jennings manages to cover a lot of bases in the short piece, and as a cancer patient I recommend it to all of you. The piece also led me to Jenning’s Times blog on his cancer journey, also worth a look.

Hi Bud – Still reading your blog. Still thinking of you all the time. How are you feeling? When do we get to have you back home in snowy WI?
